Our Recruitment Process

Preparing for an upcoming interview? Here’s what you can typically expect when interviewing with us.

Initial Screen:  Generally, the first step in the interview process at QVC is a discussion with one of our Talent Acquisition Partners to better understand your experience, skills and career interests compared to the criteria outlined in the job posting. You should plan for a conversation via phone, onsite or video, depending on the role.

Assessments: For some roles, you may be asked to complete an assessment to help us determine your experience level with certain functional or technical skills associated with the position. Depending on the level of the position, this will be something completed as a part of the application or interview process, and the Recruiter will notify you and provide all necessary information regarding when and how to complete the assessment.

Business Interview:  Selected candidates at QVC will be scheduled for an interview with the selected interview team, which will take place either in-person or via video. We interview one-on-one, using an interview panel or multiple interviewers, each of whom has specific focus areas for discussion and will guide you through the interview process. For some roles, there can be multiple interview stages that may be held or a mix of interview and assessment stages.

Interview Format: At QVC, we leverage a competency and behavior-based interview format for most roles across the business. With this format, candidates can expect the interviewers to ask for specific examples from past work experience, as that information can help predict a candidate’s success within a role at our organization. Our interview questions are grounded in Our Principles, so reviewing them in advance of your interview will be helpful. Focus on sharing examples that demonstrate your ability to apply our Principles in your work experience.
