As a Vendor Marketing Account Executive on the Zulily Media Services Team, you will help build, communicate, and grow Zulily's vision of delivering new and fresh experiences every day through Vendor Marketing.

Vendor Marketing Account Executive are responsible for growing the Vendor Marketing (VM) Program by sourcing appropriate vendor-partners, developing and negotiating strategic VM programs, setting up programs, presenting recap analysis and renewing vendors.

Our ideal Vendor Marketing Account Executive is ambitious in nature, detail oriented, and comfortable working in cross-functional teams and can consistently take projects from start to finish. They are creative, organized and adept at time management skills.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with Merch to prospect and identify Zulily vendors for the Vendor Marketing Program. Negotiate, implement, and manage the closing of new VM business.

  • Maintain and grow relationships with Merchandising team and vendors to maximize revenue and support strategic priorities.

  • Work closely with Buyers to ensure an appropriate flow of quality vendor marketing leads

  • Accurately and effectively manage Vendor Marketing pipeline to prioritize business opportunities and resources.

  • Use data to identify and implement opportunities for sales process improvement.

  • Use a variety of tools to create reports, analyze data, and act on the insights derived from the data.

  • Ensure that all key stakeholders (Merchandising team and vendors) continually receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service.

  • Reach and exceed individual sales goals while partnering with team to achieve overall team goals.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of relevant work experience in Merchandising Org, enterprise sales, negotiation, or brand/ advertising agency relationships

  • Strong understanding of ZuKeeper and Company Reports e.g.: Event Comparison Report

  • Proven experience selling and generating new business, with an ability to create partnerships from the ground up that have large impact (preferred)

  • Strong presentation, analytical and negotiation skills

  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills with the ability to influence others (written and oral inter-personal skills) both internally and externally

  • Must be solution oriented, adaptable and a persistent innovator

  • Microsoft Office proficiency
