We are looking for an intern for the Organic Social Media Marketing team. You will have the opportunity to learn the skills and experience needed to manage a leading video commerce retailer on social media. Through the supervision of a Social Media Strategist as well as thegreater team, you will plan, strategize, and executesocial media campaigns as well as foster community and engagement across our platforms.

Assist Social Strategists in curating content and managing posts for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest by requesting photo & video assets internally and externally, creating tagged social links, uploading approved content and copy, submitting posts for approvals, and scheduling final posts to our social platforms & scheduling tools.
Engage our community of fans and followers by moderating comments during Facebook Livestreams and in Facebook Groups, Instagram DMs, Tweets, & more.
Coordinate administrative matters for social outreach, such as sweepstakes prize fulfillment, vendor product samples, etc.
Pull monthly data across platforms to track growth and gather ad-hoc reports through Facebook Business Manager, Facebook Creator Studio, Social Commerce (formerly Curalate), Sprinklr, Tableau, etc.
Assist with the creation of PowerPoint presentations, attend meetings, and take detailed recap notes to report back to the team.
Help maintain the Social Program Schedule (a program that houses copy, links and programming of the on-air shows that are streamed live across QVC’s Facebook Pages).
What You Bring
Applicants must currently be enrolled in a college or university in an undergraduate or graduate program.
The 2023 Summer Internship will be full time (37.5 hours) May 22nd – August 11th
The Organic Social Media intern candidate should be self-motivated, attentive to detail, an outstanding communicator (written and verbal), and a team-player with a positive attitude.
Working knowledge of social media platformssuch as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest is required.
Knowledge of web/digital based technologies as well as various computer programs including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel are required.
Writing skills and social copy experience strongly preferred.Consistency of style is critical and proper grammar usage, spelling, and quality of writing is highly imperative to this role.
Experience with social scheduling & reporting tools likeFacebook Business Manager, Facebook Creator Studio, Social Commerce (formerly Curalate),Sprinklr, Tableau, etc. is preferred.
Graphic design experience as well as content creationis a plus!
