We are looking for a Social Media Specialist (Maternity Cover) to join our fantastic Social Media Team in Brugherio (MB). As SMS you will be responsible for managing social media profiles and executing the marketing strategy to drive engagement, brand enhancement and sales. You will interact with social media communities to promote QVC brand, events and will build an editorial calendar (mainly on FB and IG) and related compelling, consistent and meaningful content on all social media platforms.

Some of your main responsibilities will be:

Social & Community Strategy:

  • Responsible for the brand identity across all social platforms, working directly with the social media production team and other content teams to ensure all content is brand right and meets platform best practices

  • Implement and execute social media strategies that build brand awareness, generate engagement, traffic and sales

  • Stay current with social media trends and best practices

  • Develop a multi-platform social media video & content strategy which works to service YouTube, IGTV, and Facebook Premiere

  • Develop a Pinterest strategy to engage existing and future customers

  • Implement a cross channel social marketing plan (including content strategy)

Social Media Deployment & Moderation:

  • Develop and deliver social media optimization (SMO)

  • Build the editorial calendar/scheduling, write and review and approve content to increase customer long term engagement

  • Generate, edit, publish and share content daily, ensuring consistent communication with our social media followers

  • Collaborate with other departments to manage company reputation, coordinate promotions, and increase reach

  • Moderate user-generated content and messages appropriately, based on company and community policies

  • Manage social selling opportunities in partnership with Digital Store team

Social Media Analytics:

  • Analyze analytics reports in coordination with Customer Analytics team to gain insight on traffic, demographics, effectiveness to drive improvements in traffic / engagement

The Ideal profile:

  • Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communication, Media or other related subject

  • At least 3+ years experience in the same role in an Agency or in a big company (experience in Retail would be considered a plus)

  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of social media platforms  (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter, Youtube)

  • A creative thinker with strong storytelling skills

  • Can-do positive attitude and flexible with changes in the business and demands of a fast-paced environment

  • Able to build and grow relationships with internal and external stakeholders and contributors to digital content 

  • Good knowledge of current web trends and one or more content management systems – used to publishing content directly

  • Experience of managing successful campaigns that drive traffic for acquisition, retention and sales

  • Good knowledge of photo and video editor tools would be considered a plus

  • Fluent Italian and English
