Responsible for digital schedule creation; strategic planning and for maximising content across the homepage and other most important pages of the QVC.it website

  • Compile and optimize holistic digital activity schedule collaborating with performance marketing and social to capitalise on marketing activity and create a seamless digital experience for the customer

  • Manage and maintain the calendars for the homepage and category pages  to surface the most compelling and valuable content for each day relevant to the platform
  • Leverage on and off-air programming to maximize sales, productivity and drive new customer conversion
  • Define briefs of the homepage for the website to drive business KPIs
  • Maintain and priorities a balance of story types, and a frequency of publishing that drives engagement, whilst delivering commercial goals and being editorially relevant
  • Collaborate with the digital store trading team to work ahead to build the schedule, to identify gaps in the digital calendar and to highlight the strongest content to represent their needs on the Homepage and deliver targets by category
  • Bring new programming ideas to light and encourage dialogue with contributors to meet the needs of the company, drive long-term strategy and digital growth
  • Track changes and/or spot missing information critical to daily migrations and raise to the necessary teams
  • React to business opportunities and challenges in order to maximize sales and engagement
  • Close collaboration with the Digital Content Design & Development team within the framework of the HP Planning

Communicating Schedules

  • Accountable for accurate and timely communication of plans and priorities to the relevant teams for timely delivery of content to all platforms and business visibility
  • Plan the weekly homepage and promotional highlights schedule in collaboration with the Digital Store Traders to highlight the strongest stories each day and give key business stakeholders visibility
  • Digital Liaison to the on-air programming, category production and TV production teams to help prioritize digital mentions and support for digital business.

Analyzing, reporting and refining process

  • Review and share weekly results in a report for the business, developing approach and calendar based on findings
  • Work with the digital store analyst to share results of homepage and APP performance in terms of site visits and continue to optimize plan based on findings
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and topics in Digital, keeping track of key trends and competitor and market relevant sites
  • Close collaboration and cooperation with the Digital Content Design & Development team within the framework of the HP Planning Process.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in the role; eCommerce or Omni channel retail environment
  • A strong financial understanding including margin, profit, sales and inventory management
  • Experience of forecasting with a high degree of accuracy
  • Experience of process improvement and making recommendations
  • English: fluent
