Position Title: Senior Project Delivery Manager Supply Chain

Working Location: Sakura Fulfilment Center, Chiba

The Senior Project Delivery Manager is responsible for the projects assigned to him/her and is responsible for the successful implementation of all phases of these projects. One or more projects in the operations department can be assigned to him/her. One or more business units can be affected per project. All projects can be national, international or global, but are prevalently international. 

A Senior Project Delivery Manager can also be assigned to programs (combining several projects to a common goal). Then he/she acts as a responsible program manager. In this role, other Project Delivery Managers can report to him/her.

Successful completion of a project or Program includes:

• Creation of all necessary project documents (e.g. project description, benefit invoice, specifications (or User Stories), schedule…)
• Completion / delivery in the agreed time frame or schedule,
• Compliance with the agreed budget,
• Manage change requests
• Fulfilment of the agreed scope of delivery and
• Proof of the required benefits

The Senior Project Delivery Manager coordinates all QVC internal departments assigned to the project (such as Logistics Operations, IT, Finance) but also any external suppliers. He/she is responsible for regular project status reporting to his/her superior, the project sponsor and a steering committee.

In agile projects, the Senior Project Delivery Manager also acts as the „Product Owner” for the corresponding application, representing the respective operational area.

The tasks of the Senior Project Delivery Manager also include support in development, conceptual design and approval of projects. The support and coordination of the purchasing department for project-specific tenders and awards is also required.

The Senior Project Delivery Manager also supports portfolio management, e.g. by creating, checking and monitoring Request for Works (RfW), business cases or project / program roadmaps on a national or international level.

The Senior Project Delivery Manager can act as a substitute for his supervisor in his absence or unavailability.

• Knowledge of IT systems and applications (if possible in the range of logistics / supply chain) as well as data analysis and statistics
• Fluent Japanese and English in speaking and writing

Preferred experience: 

5-10 years of experience in project management with proven success in the field of logistics / supply chain

４）待遇

Other Information (Terms & Conditions apply):

• Employment Type: Full-time Regular Employee

(Probation period- 6 months, no change in working conditions during this period)

• Compensation: 7.5 million JPY to 10 million JPY

  The prescribed working hours for one （1） month shall be as follows: Scheduled working hours per month: Working days of the month x 8 hours
